Have questions about our Open Calls? Want tips for crafting an effective proposal? Tune in to our Open Calls Info Session Webinar on February 15, 2020.

A live Q&A will be held at the end of the presentation via the 'chat' function. Participants should ask their questions via chat text to be answered live on video. To enable chat, viewers must have a Gmail account and be logged into YouTube with their Gmail account. If you do not have a Gmail account/cannot login to YouTube, please send your questions to us directly at admin@cueartfoundation.org. Please read our FAQs for Solo Exhibitions and/or Curatorial Projects in advance, and be prepared to ask any questions that are not already answered on our website. If you have questions that you know will be specific only to your proposal, please email them to Josephine Heston, Programs Associate: josephine@cueartfoundation.org.

This webinar will be available to view on our website after February 15th. You can refer to 2019’s info session for more information in the meantime.

CUE’s Open Calls provide artists and emerging curators the opportunity and necessary resources to realize an exhibition at CUE’s storefront gallery in East Chelsea, New York. Each year, a panel of established artists and curators select two to three solo exhibitions and one curatorial project to be realized at CUE. Finalists are paired with a member of the selection panel, who works with them as a mentor throughout the process of planning and mounting the exhibition. CUE provides institutional guidance, generous honoraria, a shipping budget, and an accompanying exhibition catalogue with a critical essay by a participant in CUE's Art Critic Mentoring Program

Applications are accepted once annually in the spring. The deadline for the current Open Call is March 18, 2020.
