Relevant Content: A workshop on design thinking for artists + curators
Led by Joshua Hauth with Eva Bochem-Shur
Saturday, November 3rd, 2018
3-6pm
FREE
**Registration closed. This event is at capacity**

Relevant Content is a free workshop for artists and curators that challenges participants’ understanding of the role of design in the development of artistic narrative. From individual to institutional levels of engagement, we will examine how design works in an art context by looking at individual artworks, website and catalogue production, and exhibition design. Through lectures, exercises, and discussions, participants will analyze how art production has necessitated design thinking over time, as well as how and where these practices overlap and diverge. Drawing a relationship between the forms of art and design in contemporary production settings, participants will gain new perspectives on design thinking in a collaborative community context.

To register for this workshop, please complete this questionnaire no later than October 30, 2018. Participants will be selected to attend the workshop based on their answers on a rolling basis as applications come in. Space is limited - early submission is recommended!
