This hands-on workshop designed for artists and arts administrators will provide the opportunity to learn how to professionally pack artworks for safe shipping and storage. Focusing on small-scale 3 dimensional objects and sculptures, we’ll explore packing materials, tools, techniques, as well as best practices for handling artwork to ensure its longevity. Time will be allotted to answer questions and topics submitted by participants in advance of the workshop. This workshop is most suitable for beginners. Led by artist, Alex Branch.
