CUE is accepting applications for public programs that serve as sites of inquiry to test ideas or think in public. The open call supports programs that are informal, conversational, participatory, process-based, provisional, or otherwise difficult to classify. Programs may take many forms, including workshops, performances, readings, screenings, meals, listening sessions, or other hybrid formats.

Each program is a one-day occurrence, with scheduling open during the day or in the evening. However, we are open to proposals that unfold over several days to a week where appropriate.

We recognize that longer-term or multi-day programs often require additional resources, and while our budget for expenses is limited, we remain open to these proposals and encourage applicants to consider how their ideas might take shape within these constraints.

We are especially interested in proposals that are shaped by present conditions, and in which political, social, or material realities actively structure the work and its encounter with others.

The application is open to all artists, curators, and arts workers, and the applicant can be an individual, a group, or a collective.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by CUE’s team, with review beginning in April for programs that take place through September 2026.
