This open call will prioritize public programs that serve as a site of inquiry, rather than as a finished presentation or product. It seeks programs that are informal, conversational, participatory, process-based, or otherwise difficult to classify. Programs may take many forms, including but not limited to presentations, workshops, performances, readings, screenings, meals, listening sessions, or hybrid formats. Each program is intended to be a one-day occurrence, with flexible timing (daytime or evening), though we are open to proposals that unfold over several days or up to a week where appropriate.

We recognize that longer-term or multi-day programs often require additional resources, and while our budget for expenses is limited, we remain open to these proposals and encourage applicants to consider how their ideas might take shape within these constraints.

CUE will especially consider applications that are urgent due to the current political context, particularly where it directly affects the backgrounds of participants or collaborators, or the nature of the work.

Individuals, groups, and collectives are encouraged to apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by CUEs team, with review beginning in early April. We encourage all those who are interested to apply!
