CUE TEEN COLLECTIVE

The CUE Teen Collective is an engaged group of teens with art on their minds. Their aim is to collaboratively investigate the New York Art world through field trips, artist talks, and discussions. Curiosity and a willingness to communicate and write are essential traits of a CUE Teen Collective member. You do not need to be a technically skilled artist to participate. 

LOCATION
The program is essentially nomadic with an active field trip schedule to locations around NYC. Participants will meet at CUE Art Foundation before embarking on trips. We are located at 137 West 25th Street (Between 6th and 7th Avenue), New York, NY 10001 near the E, A, F, M, N, R, 1 trains to 23rd Street. 

SCHEDULE
The 2017 spring session will meet every Thursday 4.30-6.30pm, beginning April 20 through June 8, 2017. 

ELIGIBILITY
We are looking for NYC high school students in grades 10-11 who are interested in exploring careers in the arts (future professional artists, curators, art critics, publishers, and more).

HOW DO I APPLY?
Fill out the application form via the link below. Applicants are asked to answer a short questionnaire and submit two artwork samples through the online application. The deadline to apply is: Midnight, Sunday, March 19, 2017.
A select number of applicants will be invited to attend an interview March 30, 2017.
