Installation Photography for Artists
Saturday, October 14. 3-6pm
Fee: $45 / $25 for members
*Limited number of member tickets available.
Designed for artists seeking to elevate the photographic documentation of their artwork, this 3-hour workshop will focus on documenting installed work, particularly in a gallery setting.
Instructor Phoebe Streblow will cover camera settings and techniques, workflow, post-production / file management, and common issues encountered when documenting installations. For many artists, the documentation of an artwork is the way it will be remembered and preserved, so understanding the fundamentals of this process is paramount.
Interested participants should have a basic understanding of digital SLR cameras and elements of photography (aperture, shutter speed, exposure, etc.).
Class size is limited to 10 participants; please sign up early to secure your place.
Phoebe Streblow is an artist and professional photographer. She holds an MFA in Photography, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts.
