CUE TEENS: SUMMER PORTFOLIO INTENSIVE 2017
This week-long intensive art program provides high school students from across New York City the opportunity to practice observational drawing and painting techniques, and create artwork for their college application portfolios. Visits to art galleries and museums serve as inspiration for the students while they develop their craft. This program is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. The class fills quickly so you are advised to sign up early once registration has begun.
Dates: July 24-28, 2017
Run time: 10am—4pm (Mon—Fri)
Classes take place at CUE Art Foundation (Flatiron/East Chelsea) with supplemental field trips scheduled throughout the week to museums and galleries throughout NYC. Please keep in mind that pickup and drop-off locations will differ some days according to the field trip schedule.
To be eligible for the program, students must be entering grades 11 or 12 in Fall 2017, and must live within the five boroughs of NYC. Students must not have any schedule conflicts for the duration of the program.
